Beautiful Madeline

Hello everyone and happy new week! This is the new Prima collection I've been talking so much about - Madeline! It's just so colourful and fresh and in the same time so classy. I just love all the papers in it! This particular paper combines most of the designs and even though I used it as a background only, you can still get a pretty good idea of the colours and patterns you can get in Madeline. The full collection is available in Paper Lane and I hear it's going fast :)

I also used one of the new Hero Arts and BasicGrey stamps - Luscious Flowers. It's a great background stamp you can use in so many ways. I had so much fun playing with it and will be sure to show you more of it later on :) The stamp coordinates with the Hello Luscious Collection by BasicGrey.

It's been a while since I last took part in a challenge, so I'm entering this card in the Cardsaddicted challenge - First Spring.

Здравейте! Ето я и любимата ми нова колекция на Prima - Madeline! Цветовете веднага ме грабнаха - ярки и свежи и в същото време много елегантни. Използвах хартията само като фон, но все пак дава идея за основните цветове и дизайни на колекцията.

Използвах и един от новите печати на Hero Arts и BasicGrey - Тучни Цветя - страхотен фонов печат с много приложения и много забавен за използване!

Hi! As promised, here comes another card inspired by the new Prima collections. This time I used a Sparkling Spring paper. I just love the dots :) It's a sweet mini card for someone sweet :) Here is a list of the supplies I used:

Prima Reflections

Hi! Here comes my first ever DT card for Paper Lane! It's all so exciting that I still can't believe it's true :)

This week we are featuring the Prima Marketing release for Winter 2011. I have not used Prima products before and was so curious to find out why it's so popular in the paper crafting community. Now I know :). It's simply gorgeous - the papers, the flowers, the colours... Paper Lane has brought to Dubai the whole release, so there are so many products and colours to choose from that one can get really lost and overwhelmed. I hope the DT will help you find your favourite ones!

For this card I chose a die cut shape from the Reflections Collection 6x6 paper pad. The collection features warm shades of nature colours and beautiful patterns which can produce both natural and vintage look on your projects, be it a card or a scrapbook page. I chose that particular die cut for a reason. Birds seem to be in fashion in the industry this season, so I wanted to make my card really trendy :). To complement its fashionable look, I adorned it with a butterfly and a ribbon.

I distressed the edges with Crushed Olive Distress Ink to make them pop; then I used the blue side of Reflections Mantra paper to add colour to the background; stamped a sentiment in brown ink to match the paper; tied an organza ribbon and embellished with a shiny hand-made butterfly. It's an easy, elegant and quick card (in case you have the embellishment ready :)).

The butterfly was so fun to make! I just love it when you can turn a plain piece of paper into a lovely element. The butterfly was just a white Sizzix die cut when I started dealing with it :). If you like it, I can show you how to make one later on.

Здравейте! Първата ми картичка като част от дизайнерския екип на Paper Lane е факт! Тази седмица представяме новата колекция на Prima от CHA 2011. Досега не бях използвала Prima и ми беше много любопитно да разбера защо продуктите им са толкова популярни. Е, убедих се. Има защо :). Разнообразието на новата колекция е невероятно - от натурални цветове до пролетно свежо и ярко лятно.

За тази картичка използвах колекцията Reflections, която идва в по-натурални и топли цветове. Формата е част от хартиеното блокче на колекцията; използвах дистрес мастило Маслина за краищата, една от сините хартии от колекцията, панделка от органза и пеперуда, която направих сама от форма изрязана със Sizzix.

Не можах да устоя и пробвах и няколко от другите колекции. Наминете скоро за още Prima картички, както и за да разберете, коя е любимата ми Prima колекция за този сезон!

Buttons

Здравейте! Позагубих се през последните 10 дни, но изобщо не съм спирала да мисля за картички или да правя. Даже напротив! Нямам търпение да ви покажа новите картички, но ще трябва да изчакам още малко до официалния ми дебют в Paper Lane.

Днес се спирам само за малко с картичка, която направих за рождения ден на една от моите приятелки от детинство. Не успях да я изпратя навреме, но се радвам, че ще мога лично да и я дам, макар и по-късно. Харесвам как изглеждат ярките цветове върху крафт картон! Включвам картичката при Картичкофуриите и предизвикателството Копчета. До скоро!

Hi! It's been a while and though I haven't posted anything for the past 10 days, I've been as busy as a bee crafting :) I'm so eager to show you my latest cards, however I will be patient :) We have some great new releases to show you, so stay tuned for the Paper Lane DT debut!

Today I just stopped by to post a card I made for the birthday of one of my closest friend. I love how bright colours look on kraft paper! The card goes for the Buttons challenge of Cardsaddicted. See you soon!

Find joy in simple things

Hi! To celebrate my Paper Lane DT membership and share some of my excitement, I decided to challenge myself with something I've never tried before. I thought it would be fun to make something different, so I chose a canvas (23x16cm) and decided to decorate it. My initial idea was to stamp directly on the canvas, but it turned out this particular one would not hold the ink, so I ended up painting it with Broken China distress ink. I was once again amazed by this ink; it covered the whole surface so easily! Then I got three of my handmade flowers and added some more layers to give them additional dimension. I also used three kinds of distress inks to bring them to life. Somehow I always feel that I need just a little more space on the card, so now I was happy to be finally able to use my big punches and have three quite big flowers on my project. I finished off with a nice sentiment, a die cut butterfly covered with Glossy Accents, some ribbon, a cute baby pink clothespin and some Hero Arts gems.

What is it for? :) Well, I think I can hang it on the wall to remind me about the simple things that can bring us joy and use the small March note to write down some important dates or events during the month. Any other ideas? :) This type of project can also make a nice personalized gift, so I will definitely try it again. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed it!

Здравейте! Ето ме пак. За да отбележа избирането ми за ДЕ на Paper Lane и да споделя част от въодушевлението си реших да се предизвикам сама с нещо, което не съм правила досега. Избрах си едно платно (23x16cm) за да го украся. Първоначалният ми план беше да се пробвам с печати върху него, но се оказа, че точно това платно не може да задържи мастилото и в крайна сметка го боядисах, така да се каже, с Broken China дистрес мастило. Това мастило не спира да ме учудва; нанесе се толкова лесно! След това сложих три от вече готовите ми цветя, добавих още няколко пласта за допълнителен обем и три вида дистрес мастила за да им вдъхна повече живот. Винаги ми се струва, че ми трябва още малко място на картичката за да разположа елементите, така че сега бях супер щастлива да използвам големите си перфоратори и да сложа цели три големи цветя :) Завърших проекта с послание ("Намирай радост в малките неща"), пеперуда покрита с Glossy Accents, панделка, една сладка бебешко розова щипчица и няколко Hero Arts камъчета.

Сега, за какво може да се използва? :) Ами, мисля си, че мога да си го закача на стената за да ми напомня за малките неща, които носят радост и да използвам бележката да си записвам някакви важни неща през месеца. Някакви други идеи? :) Също така ми се струва, че от подобно платно ще стане много хубав подарък, така че пак ще се пробвам. Мерси, че се отбихте и се надявам проектът да ви е допаднал!
