Prima Divine Mini Album and Layout

Hello! Today I am really happy to show you the mini album I made with the latest Prima products available at Paperlane. I used papers from the new Divine collection (and divine it is!), a Mixed Media Doll stamp, tags from the Tags Pad and wooden buttons - all such a treat and delight to my crafter's soul!

The moment I saw that pretty doll stamp, I knew it would be perfect for paper piecing and I was right. It was such fun to make the doll and decorate the tag. Once the tag was ready, I had to come up with something to hold it, so basically the album was created because of the tag :).

The mini album has four pages that hold 4x6 inch photos and two pockets for tags and more photos. I used the first pocket for a photo tag and a journalling tag and the pocket on the back cover for a bunch of other photos from the same session.

The papers are so beautiful and delicate and the colours matched my photos so nicely that I did not find it necessary to decorate the pages a lot. I kept it clean and simple:

a banner and a sticker;

and a button and ribbon here and there.

The mini album makes a perfect keepsake and a sweet gift and will be soon available at Paperlane as a class.

I also have a layout for you. I used the Canzone paper from the Divine collection - a really beautiful design, which is very easy to work with.

I only added a banner, die cuts, a brad and some tulle for a more delicate touch. And voila!

The photos in the mini album and layout were taken by Ania from the ania james photography.

I hope my projects have inspired you!

Happy crafting,

Lidiya

Castle Chipboard Album

Hello! Today I have a fun chipboard album for you. I was so happy when I got the castle shaped album as part of my Paperlane DT supplies last year because I knew it would be just perfect to collect and scrapbook some of Raya's fairy tale photos.

I used papers from We Are Memory Keepers Easter collection, some stamps, lace, flowers and ribbons.
Did you see the two sweet bunnies on the cover :)?

Here come also:

the Little Red Riding Hood

A princess ballerina

and Raya's all-time favourite Freej characters.

I used K&Company tags for journaling and slid them behind the photos.

Thanks for joining me today!

My Japan Album

Hi! I made this album last year and never got the chance to post it, so here it comes today - the album I created for the photos from our trip to Japan in November 2011 when we visited Kyoto, Nara and Tokyo.

I used papers from K&Company 12x12 pad and the back-to-back technique to create the album body. It did take some time to stick all the pages, but the result was worth it since I got a quite big and sturdy album.

I got so many photos that it was impossible to get them all inside, so I came up with the idea to dress up white envelopes and use them to keep the photos I was not able to stick on the pages. So I ended up with an envelope at the end of each city section.

I decided not to use any decoration on this album as my main aim was to focus on the photos and journalling for the places we visited rather than try to create a scrapbooking masterpiece. Mission completed :)

I hope you liked this album as I have more coming your way!

Take care.
