Summer Card Camp 2011- Week 2

Hello, everyone! It's week 2 of the Summer Card Camp 2011 and the colour combo is oh so yummy (not to mention the generous prize):

Orange is one of the colours I use the least in my cards, but it seems quite in fashion this summer and to be honest, I start to like it! Here is my take on the combination.

Summer Card Camp 2011 - Week 1

Hello! Jennifer McGuire and Kristina Werner's Summer Card Camp 2011 has begun! Woo hoo! Today we are in week 1 with this amazing and fun colour combination!


Здравейте! Започна летният лагер за правене на картички воден от Дженифър Макгуайер и Кристина Вернер. Вълнуващо, нали! Тази седмица задачата ни е да направим картички с тази цветова комбинация.


Honestly, I would have never thought of combining these colours, but they do look so good together! Thank you, ladies! It was definitely fun to try the colour combo and the techniques taught by Jennifer. I decided to make a card similar to Jennifer's using the stamps, markers and inks I have.

Не бих се осмелила да съчетая така тези цветове, но когато го направих много ми хареса.


It did not turn out quite alright, but it's colourful and shiny in real life and I'm happy I gave it a try! Hopefully I will manage to try the "window card" as well by the end of week 1 :) Thank you for stopping by!

Mini album

Здравейте! Този път ще ви покажа нещо малко по-различно, макар че реално погледното материалите са същите, които използвам и при правенето на картички :). Идеята за този мини албум видях от Sasya, едно много чаровно и талантливо момиче, чийто блог обичам да посещавам. Благодаря ти, Сася!

My Mind's Eye

Hello! I'm back with another quick post and my take on the new My Mind's Eye paper collection. These papers are just gorgeous, aren't they?

The first card features a flower I made from scraps and more precisely many papers on which I experimented with a HA background stamp and different Distress inks (that explains the green and red ink in the flower:))

Цветето на първата картичка е моя изработка и е направено изцяло от хартии върху които опитвах различни техники с един от фоновите печати на Херо Артс. Не бяха много сполучливи, но пък дадоха живот на това красиво цвете :)

Supplies:

Patterned paper: My Mind's Eye - Hattie "Remember" Roses Paper, Hattie "Buddies" Herringbone Paper
Paper: kraft, watercolour paper
Tools: Boarder punch, big flower punch
Stamp: Hero Arts Large Floral Pattern stamp, Find Joy sentiment set
Ink: Broken China, Crushed Olive and Walnut Stain Distress Inks
Others: Dusty Attic chipboard embellishment, Webster's Pages Buttons and Twines, Ranger Perfect Pearls



For this second card I only cut out some of the flowers and then paper pieced them. The moment I saw the paper I knew that's what I wanted to do with it. I used some Glossy Accents for additional dimension and shine.


За втората картичка само изрязах някои от цветята и ги залепих отново. В момента, в който видях хартията реших, че точно това трябва да направя и не му мислих повече. Добавих и малко Glossy Accents за допълнителен обем и блясък. Благодаря, че се отбихте!
